For years, the deodorant category has defined sweat in women as a sign of weakness, something to be ashamed of. From sheepish bridesmaids to uncomfortable businesswomen in silk blouses. For Degree Clinical, we reframed the discussion, presenting sweat, for the first time, as a sign of strength.
What started as a small US campaign for an adjunct product was picked up by Unilever markets on three continents, where the brand is also known as Sure and Rexona. It created and defined the entire clinical strength category in multiple countries, with other brands racing to follow our lead.
